Biography

An alumna of the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal – where she was heard in Dido and Aeneas – Mia Lennox-Williams is quickly becoming recognized for the beauty, colour, and flexibility of her instrument and her innate dramatic sense. Her career has already included performances in Canada, Europe, and the United States. Past engagements include Tisbe (La cenerentola) at the Calgary Opera, Gwendolen (Earnest, The Importance of Being – world premiere) at the Toronto Operetta Theatre, and Bianca (The Rape of Lucretia), Idamante (Idomeneo) and Baba (The Rake’s Progress) at Pacific Opera Victoria.
