To meet the needs of a multitude of social and educational projects, the Opéra de Montréal is proud to rely on the collaboration of committed and generous teaching artists who bring the projects to life and share a glimmer of hope with all audiences. We thank them for their generosity and their humanity.
In 2018, the Opéra de Montréal implemented its Opera Impact Program to raise awareness of opera among all audiences. This program includes a variety of cultural activities in the community or in schools—activities that are made possible thanks to a team of dedicated singer-mediators and collaborators. The goal of the program: to introduce opera to a wide audience and raise awareness of the art form, so that it can serve as a lever for social change and a key pedagogical tool.
