There are a number of places on the Site where you can click on a link to access other websites that are not operated under this Policy. For example, if you click on an ad or search result on the Site, you may be directed to a website that is not owned by the Company. These third-party websites may independently request and collect information, including personal information, from you, and in some cases, the Company may provide information about your activities on these websites. The Company recommends checking the privacy statements of all third-party websites you visit by clicking on the "Privacy" link usually found at the bottom of the web page you visit.

Other information collected through our site:

Use of cookies and other technologies to collect information.

The Company uses various technologies to collect information from your computer and about your activities on the Site.

• Automatically collected information. The Company automatically collects information from your browser when you visit our Site. This information includes your IP address, the type and language of your browser, access times, the content of any non-deleted cookies that your browser has previously accepted from the Company (see "Cookies" below), and the addresses of websites that directed you to the operademontreal.com website.

• Cookies. When you visit the Site, the Company may assign a "cookie" (small unique identifier text file) or a series of cookies to your computer to facilitate access to the Site and personalize your online experience. For example, when you log in to the Site, the Company records your email address and name in your account with La Société de la Place des Arts de Montréal in the cookie file on your computer. You can also save your password in this cookie file if you have indicated that you would like your password to be saved for automatic logins. For security purposes, the Company encrypts all usernames, passwords, and other data related to user or member accounts stored in these cookies. In the case of sites and services that do not use a username or member, the cookie contains a unique identifier. By using a cookie, the Company can also automatically collect information about your online activities on the Site, such as the web pages you visit, the links you click on, and the searches you perform on our site. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser settings to reject them. If you choose to reject cookies, please note that you may not be able to log in to the Site or use some of its interactive features. The Help icon on the toolbar of most browsers tells you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have your browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies.

• Other technologies. The Company may use standard Internet technology, such as pixel tags, invisible pixels, or spies, or other similar technologies, to track your use of the operademontreal.com website. The Company may also include spy pixels in emails or promotional newsletters sent by email to determine if these messages were opened and if there was a response. A spy pixel is a small file placed on a web page that allows a website to perform certain tasks, including counting users who have viewed that page or accessing cookies. The Company may also receive an anonymous identification number if you visit our site from an online ad displayed on a third-party website. The information the Company obtains in this way allows the Company to tailor the services the Company offers to visitors to the Site, transmit targeted ads, and measure the overall effectiveness of online ads or other activities.

• Information collected by third-party advertising agencies. The Company may allow third-party advertising agencies, including advertising networks, to display ads on the Site. These companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies, to collect anonymous information about users who view or interact with their ads. The Site does not provide personal information to these third parties, but they may collect information about where you, or others using your computer, have viewed the ads they display and/or clicked on them and associate this information with your subsequent visits to the advertised websites. They may also combine this information with personal information they collect from you. The collection and use of this information are subject to the privacy policy of the relevant third party. This information allows them to deliver targeted ads and assess their effectiveness.

Please check this page regularly to stay informed of changes made to this Policy, as the Company may update it from time to time. If the Company modifies the Policy, the new Policy will be accessible on the Site with the date of the last revision and will comply with applicable laws. Continuing to use the Site after the implementation of the revised Policy indicates that you have read, understood, and accepted the current version of the Policy.
