Krista de Silva
Alberta born and raised, Krista de Silva, began her musical career as a graduate of the Schulich School of Music (McGill). She has preformed with Calgary Opera (Ballad of Baby Doe, What Brought Us Here), Edmonton Opera (La Traviata), Regina Symphony Orchestra (Candide). Québec audiences will know her best as Sadia, in the opera version of Luc Plamondon’s Starmania with l'Opéra de Québec (most recently in 2016) and l’Opéra de Montréal. Other roles include, Concepcion (l’Heure Espagnole), Idamante (Idomeneo), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Carmen (La Tragédie de Carmen) and Mignon (Mignon).
