Stephen Hegedus’s recent engagements include Brahms’ Requiem at Chicago’s Grant Park Festival; Messiah in Houston, San Antonio, at the National Arts Centre, and with the Toronto and Seattle symphonies; Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) at Teatro Municipal de Santiago; Leporello (Don Giovanni) at the Vancouver Opera; Bach’s Magnificat with the Orchestre symphonique de Québec; and Bernstein’s A Quiet Place with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. Upcoming engagements include Bach’s Matthäus Passion with the Vancouver Bach Choir, and Theseus (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) at Pacific Opera Victoria. Last company appearance: Werther (2011).
