Caroline Bleau

Soprano, Canada

Graduated from Université de Montréal with her Bachelor’s degree in Music interpretation (Opera), Caroline Bleau was a nember of the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal between 2007 and 2010. Ms. Bleau’s repertoire include Nedda (cover, I Pagliacci) for Opéra de Montréal; Micaëla (La Tragédie de Carmen) for CVAI; Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) and Susanna (Il segreto di Susanna)  for the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal; Hélène ( La Belle Hélène) for Opéra-théâtre de Rimouski; Gertrud (Hänsel und Gretel), la Contessa Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Tytania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Blanche de la Force (Dialogues des Carmélites), Mrs. Gobineau (The Medium) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) for Université de Montréal. In the past seaons she sings her first Magda Sorel in Montreal Opera’s production on The Consul from Menotti;  the title role of Carmen with Jeunesses Musicales du Canada and makes her debut in Europe in the role of Musetta (La Bohème) with Opéra de Tours . She obtains a great public success with the role of Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus) with Opera de Montreal and makes her debut in Grand Théâtre de Geneve with this role of Rosalinde.  She also sings Verdi Requiem &, Durufle Requiem, Mozart Requiem, her first Butterfly, concerts& recitals dedicated to Russian and American music in Quebec. Last spring she sang in the World Premiere of Another brick in the wall with Montreal Opera.
