Scott Brooks holds a Bachelor’s degree in Opera from the University of British Columbia and a Doctorate in English Literature from the University of St. Andrews. He made his Opéra de Montréal debut as the Duke of Verona in Roméo et Juliette. In 2018-2019, he sings Monterone in Rigoletto, Man in the Bar in Champion, and Man Ray in Twenty-Seven. He is also a soloist in Broadway Evening (Aramusique), Dvořák’s Mass in D Major (Chœur Métropolitain) and in Rossini’s La scala di seta (Orchestre symphonique de la Vallée-du-Haut-Saint-Laurent). In 2019-2020, Scott will perform the role of Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) at the Festival d'Opéra de Québec and in the Jeunesses musicales du Canada Tour.
