Lucia Cesaroni has been attracting the attention of discerning audiences and critics from Vancouver to Italy in recital, concert, and on the opera stage. This season Ms. Cesaroni appears with Pacific Opera Victoria in the role of Musetta (La bohème), and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) at the 60th Anniversary of Spoleto Festival, and in Ravenna and Novara. Festival Selected credits include Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Spoleto Festival in Italy, Anne Truelove (The Rake’s Progress) at Pacific Opera Victoria, Adele (Die Fledermaus) at the Toronto Operetta Theatre, Maria (West Side Story) at the Vancouver Opera, and Norina (Don Pasquale) at the Saskatoon Opera. She has also been heard singing Messiah with the Montreal and Victoria symphonies, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with the Hamilton Philharmonic, and Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with Symphony Nova Scotia. Company debut.
