Éric Champoux

A painter since age 16, Éric Champoux has always had a keen interest in light, designing lighting for theatrical productions in Québec and Europe and working with such directors as André Brassard, Gilles Champagne, Alice Ronfard, René Richard Cyr, Claude Poissant, Yves Desgagnés, and Wajdi Mouawad. His recent opera work includes productions at Pacific Opera Victoria, the Canadian Opera Company, and here at the Opéra de Montréal (for Aida and Roméo et Juliette).
