Young Associates of Opéra de Montréal
The goal of the Young Associates Committee is to help the Opéra’s administration meet its goals of broadening and renewing its audience, reaching out to the corporate milieu, and mobilizing the community of young professionals. This provides unique opportunities for discussion and learning, as well as privileged access to opera. The Committee was formed in 2009 by a group of young professionals.
Develop interest and support of the next generation of Opéra advocates, and actively contribute to broadening the Opéra’s audience.
The Committee is made up of individuals from various spheres, such as finance, law, medicine, and entrepreneurship. Committee members have distinguished themselves in their respective areas of activity and are involved in their community. Above all, they care deeply about the Opéra’s long-term artistic and financial success. The Committee manages its activities in collaboration with the Opéra’s administration. Three informal sub-committees see to the Committee’s activities: Financing and Communications, Main Events, and Special Events.
