Samson and Delilah
SAMSON AND DELILAH
Our hearts awaken at her voice…
Marie-Nicole Lemieux sings her very first Delilah in Montreal, making Saint-Saëns’ captivating melodies—including the irresistible “Mon coeur s’ouvre à ta voix”—her own. Alain Gauthier, stage director of Dead Man Walking, winner of the 2013 Opus Award for Musical Event of the Year, helms this new production.
The invincible Samson grows weak before the tantalizing seductress Delilah, who has managed to learn the secret of his great strength. But perhaps Samson’s true power is to be found in his faith…
