LIBRETTISTS FOR AN EVENING - IN FRENCH
For the 10th anniversary of the Grande bibliothèque, the Opéra de Montréal is presenting an event entitled “Librettists for an Evening”: 5 creative artists will write or adapt a text in their own style, delving into their current feelings, to shed new light on a well-known aria that is especially meaningful to them. On the evening of the event, the singers of the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal will perform the aria with its original words AND its new lyrics! An opportunity to take part in a unique and unusual creative experience with the artistic team and the young performers of the Atelier lyrique. With musicologist Pierre Vachon and singers from the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal.

Duration: 90 min. (no intermission)
