Oleg Bryjak studied at the conservatory of Alma-Ata, going on to make his first appearances at several theatres within the Soviet Union. He is a member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, where he has appeared in a number of lead roles. Recent engagements include Falstaff (Falstaff) and Kezal (The Bartered Bride) at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, Dikoï (Katia Kabanova) at the Opéra national du Rhin, Alberich (Das Rheingold) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and Don Estoban (Der Zwerg) at the Opéra national de Lorraine. Engagements in upcoming seasons include Klingsor (Parsifal) at the Bayerische Staatsoper, and Shaklovity (Khovanshchina) in Antwerp. OdM debut.
