Biography

Measha Brueggergosman has emerged as one of the most magnificent performers and vibrant personalities of the day. She is critically acclaimed by the international press as much for her innate musicianship and voluptuous voice as for her sovereign stage presence. Her epic performance of the Olympic Hymn at the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was seen and heard by 3.2 billion television viewers around the globe. Engagements in 2012-13 include concert performances of Porgy and Bess with the Berlin Philharmonic, a European tour performing Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder, Angels in America with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal.
