Biography

Highly acclaimed in Montreal for her moving portrayals of Leonora (Il trovatore), Amelia (Simon Boccanegra), and Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), she has also performed the latter role elsewhere around the world, notably in Berlin (Deutsche Oper), Metz, Lausanne, Warsaw, Malaga, Cordoba, Santander, Savonlinna, Sydney, and Melbourne. Her other roles of note include Norma (Norma) in Lausanne and Toulon, Desdemona (Otello) in Nancy and Toulon, and the Countess (Le nozze di Figaro) in Nancy and Toyama (Japan). She was invited to the New National Theatre in Tokyo for the roles of Micaëla (Carmen), Nedda (Pagliacci), and Elisabetta (Don Carlo). Last company production: Il trovatore (2012).
