Biography

(3rd year) – QUEBEC (Dolbeau)
3rd Prize Winner of the Montreal International Music Competition in June 2015, grant recipient of the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation (2013-2015). She appeared as Mimì (La bohème) on the 2013 Jeunesses Musicales of Canada opera tour. Since 2013, France sang Rose (Lakmé), Anna (Nabucco), Madeleine (Silent Night) at the Opéra de Montréal, Gertrud (Hänsel und Gretel) with the Atelier lyrique, Suzel (L’amico Fritz) at the Canadian Vocal Arts Institute and the First Lady (Die Zauberflöte) at Opéra de Québec. In February 2015, she appeared as the Woman (La voix humaine) with the McGill Chamber Orchestra. In September 2015, she was also soloist in Beethoven’s 9th (Drummondville Symphony) and in November at Opéra de Montréal she sang The Confidante (Elektra). Upcoming: soloist in the Trilogie de la seduction with the McGill Chamber Orchestra.
