A familiar face on the Opéra de Montréal stage, Etienne Dupuis has notably appeared here as Johnny Rockfort (Starmania), Silvio (Pagliacci), and Marcello (La bohème). With the Atelier lyrique, he won acclaim for his performance as John Sorel (The Consul). Other engagements include Silvano (Un ballo in Maschera) at the Opéra de Paris, Schaunard (La bohème) with Opéra de Monte Carlo, Silvio (I Pagliacci) with Opéra de Marseille, and Valentin (Faust) with Opéra de Tours. This current 12-12 season, he has sung among other roles Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Zurga (Les pêcheurs de perles) with Deutsche Oper Berlin, both roles which he will sing in 12-13 at Opéra d’Avigon and Opéra du Rhin, as well as Escamillo (Carmen) with Pacific Opera Victoria.
