Member of the Atelier lyrique (1^st year). Emma Char begins her tenure at the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal in the 2012-2013 season. Recent credits include Sesto (Giulio Cesare) at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, and Sister James in workshop performances of Doubt in the Opera Fusion Project between Cincinnati Opera and the CCM, among others. In past seasons, she was an Apprentice Artist with The Santa Fe Opera and a Young Artist with Opera Saratoga. Upcoming engagements include the title role in La Cenerentola, also at the CCM.
