Biography

A native of St. John’s, Aaron Sheppard studied at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music with Sanford Sylvan and this past summer, he was a Young Artist with the prestigious Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project. Recent engagements include Dead Man Walking with the Opéra de Montréal and Ferrando in Così Fan Tutte with the Jeunesses Musicales du Canada. This season he sings Hadji in Lakmé and Pang in Turandot at the Opéra de Montréal. He is a current grant recipient of the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation and of the McGill University Austrian Society..
