National Auditions for Singers and Pianists for the 2013-2014 Season

(For pianists: opening position will be confirmed January 2013 / Auditions spring 2013)

Friday, October 5, 2012 (date as postmark)

Preliminaries

Toronto: November 12 and 13, 2012
Montréal: November 15 and 16, 2012
Vancouver: November 3, 2012

Call backs

Montréal: December 15, 16 and 17 (all three days)

APPLICATION

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or have Landed Immigrant status at the time of application.
Together with the application form, applicants must submit all the following:
1) Complete updated resume;
2) 8 X 10 photograph;
3) Proof of age and Canadian citizenship;
4) One-page statement outlining one’s goals and reasons for joining the OdM’s Atelier lyrique;
5) A cheque for the amount of CAD $50 payable to the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal (non refundable). Do not send cash.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applicants will be informed by email if they have been granted an audition or an interview. Chosen applicants for the call back must prepare a repertoire chosen by the audition jury. Registration files become the property of the Atelier lyrique de l’OdM and will not be returned.
