Musical preparation is handled by a team of experienced opera coaches (head coach Claude Webster, Michael McMahon, Esther Gonthier, Pierre McLean, Martin Dubé, Marc Bourdeau, Marie-Ève Scarfone, etc.) as well as guest conductor Paul Nadler. Individual or group coaching makes up the basis of the training. Voice teacher Gerald Martin Moore is available for singers who require free vocal follow-up at the Atelier. Singers who wish to pursue their training with their own voice teacher are free to do so. Master classes with singers, stage directors and conductors who are active in the field, along with classes in acting, theatre, and coaching for diction and phonetics of foreign languages complete the curriculum. Integration and close collaboration with the opera company provide the young artists with the necessary elements to embark on a professional career.
