Rachèle Tremblay

Rachèle Tremblay opera performances include Miss. Smith in La Cantatrice Chauve (Opéra de Montpellier), Ljubica in Svadba (Opéra de Montréal), Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Société d’Art lyrique du Royaume), Mercedes in Carmen (Jeunesses musicales du Canada) and Czipra in Le baron tzigane (Opéra bouffe du Québec). As a member of the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal, she sang Miss. Todd in The Old Maid and the Thief and Die Hexe in Hänsel und Gretel. She has appeared in several festivals (Festival d’Opéra de Québec, FestivalOpéra de St-Eustache, Festival de Lanaudière, Sori Festival in Korea) and following the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques national auditions, she has been invited in Japan for a concert and in China for two concert tours. 

The Quebecois mezzo-soprano holds a bachelor’s degree in harpsichord from the Conservatoire de musique de Québec. A multifaceted artist, Rachèle is currently working on a French song project called La Charpie.
