Lauren Margison

Soprano, Canada

A Jeune Ambassadrice Lyrique for 2015, a 2017 George London Foundation prize winner, and the youngest finalist to appear in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg Competition, Lauren Margison recently sang Micaela in Carmen (Brott Opera) and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte (Highlands Opera Studio), as well as appearing as the soprano soloist in Strauss’ Four Last Songs (PRISMA Festival). Her 2017/18 season includes Clorinda in La Cenerentola (Opéra de Montréal) and Missia in La Veuve joyeuse (Sinfonia de Lanaudière); she will also be a soloist in Hommage à Reynaldo Hahn (Société d’art vocal de Montréal), in the new opera Mishaabooz’s Realm (Highlands Opera Studio and Atelier lyrique), and in Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis and Mozart’s Requiem (Vox Luminosa and Chœur de Laval).
