A singer, teacher, composer, and former member of the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal, Claude Grenier has been asked to appear as a soloist for such prestigious organizations as the Opéra de Montréal (where he has sung some thirty different roles), the Opéra de Québec, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, the Edmonton Opera, the Florentine Opera of Milwaukee, the Orford Festival, and the Orchestre Métropolitain. The many roles in his repertoire include Sparafucile (Rigoletto), Colline (La bohème), Doktor (Wozzeck), Kommissarius and Notar (Der Rosenkavalier), Simone (Gianni Schicchi), and Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro). Last company appearance: Elektra (2015).
