Polish mezzo-soprano Agnes Zwierko is a frequent guest of major opera houses and companies across Europe and abroad. Future highlights include Grandmother Buryakova in Jenůfa at the Opéra National de Paris, Hostess of the Inn in The Fiery Angel at Teatro Real, Madame de la Haltière in Cendrillon at The Glyndebourne Festival, Glyndebourne on Tour and Stadttheater Klagenfurt (Austria). She regularly sings at the Komische Oper Berlin, where she will return to the roles of Ježibaba in Rusalka, Tangolita in Ball im Savoy, Baba the Turk in The Rake’s Progress, and Mistress Quickly in Falstaff.

Her future engagements include Madame de la Haltière in Cendrillon at Glyndebourne Festival and Glyndebourne on Tour as well as Opera Klagenfurt. She will also return to the Komische Oper in Berlin.

Recent engagements include Deaconess in Król Roger and Mistress Quickly in Falstaff at the Royal Opera House, Princess Eupraxia in The Enchantress at Theater an der Wien, Amelfa in The Golden Cockerel at Teatro Real, Madrid, and at La Monnaie, Khivrya in The Fair at Sorochyntsi, Tangolita in Ball in Savoy, and Madame de la Haltière in Cendrillon at Komische Oper Berlin, and Klytämnestra in Elektra at Opera de Montreal.

Agnes has performed for many international opera houses and companies including Liceu, Barcelona, Komische Oper Berlin, Berlin Staatsoper, Theater an der Wien, Teatro Colón - Buenos Aires, Rome Opera, Teatro Massimo - Palermo, Prague State Opera, Slovak National Theatre - Bratislava, and La Scala - Milan. Her wide repertoire includes Amneris in Aida, Eboli in Don Carlo, Madame Larina in Eugene Onegin, Ljubov in Mazepa, Kundry in Parsifal, Jezibaba in Rusalka, Azucena in Il Trovatore, Ulrica in Un ballo in maschera, Kostelnička in Jenůfa, Kabanicha in Kátya Kabanová, La Frugola in Il tabarro, The Princess in Suor Angelica, Zita in Gianni Schicchi, Klytämnestra in Elektra, and Jocasta in Oedipus Rex.
